NORTH VALLEY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION ENDORSES DR. PAUL DHANUKA FOR REDDING CITY COUNCIL

REDDING, Calif. – The North Valley Medical Association Board of Directors has unanimously voted to support Dr. Paul Dhanuka’s election to the Redding City Council. This endorsement underscores Dr. Dhanuka’s commitment to community well-being and his proven leadership in healthcare.

Media representatives are invited to meet Dr. Dhanuka, who has officially filed to be on the July ballot, and educate the public on his candidacy for the Redding City Council.

Dr. Dhanuka is the current president of the North Valley Medical Association and brings a unique perspective to city governance with his extensive experience in healthcare and community service. His leadership has transformed the NVMA into a vital organization serving physicians across Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, and Siskiyou counties.

“As a physician, Dr. Dhanuka brings a unique perspective on health-related issues,” wrote board member Matthew W. Allen, MD of Valor Oncology. “This is critical in shaping policies that directly impact the well-being of the community.”

In addition to his role at NVMA, Dr. Dhanuka has demonstrated his commitment to preserving and enhancing healthcare access through initiatives such as the “Saving Private Practice” committee, a collaborative effort with the Butte-Glenn Medical Society.

Dr. Dhanuka’s leadership extends beyond healthcare institutions; he has served as the elected Chief of Staff at both Shasta Regional Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center. His ability to identify critical issues and foster collaboration has been instrumental in driving progress.

Beyond professional duties, Dr. Dhanuka is actively involved in educating future physicians at local hospitals and the UC Davis School of Medicine. He also volunteers his expertise to support local military veterans and their families.
