Redding, CA — “I have lived and served patients and families in Redding for nearly 20 years. As a candidate for City Council, I feel privileged and blessed to have the support of dozens of Redding community leaders, business owners, fellow physicians, and friends including former Redding Mayors Ken Murray and Mark Cibula, as well as former City Councilman Michael Dacquisto.

“In addition to prioritizing the need to lower our cost of living, including energy bills, ensuring that our police and fire departments have the resources and authority to keep our neighborhoods and streets safe, and bringing needed medical specialty care and treatment to the North State – we need to have better transparency in our local political process.

“Many Redding residents I speak to feel left out of the process, and that their voice doesn’t matter. I’m running to change that. I want everyone to feel included and to know they have a voice or, at the very least, access to those leading our city. As a physician, bringing people together and partnering with them to solve problems is something I do every day.

“I’m running to shed some sunlight on the process, make people feel included, and end the lack of transparency people see in our local process.”
